The East Windsor Economic Development Commission & The East Windsor Chamber
of Commerce have joined together to create “Welcome to East Windsor” packets for
New Employers & Their Workforces as well as New Possible Residents & Tourists
who have requested information about the Town of East Windsor & Her Area. (
requests for packets of this type has grown in the last few months)
Items we are looking for could be Menus from Restaurants, Promotional
Discount Cards, Pamphlets on Your Business Etc. (This Free Services is Available
to All Businesses Located within East Windsor as well as Members of the East
Windsor Chamber of Commerce.)
If Your Business or Community Group would like to include Promotional
Material in these packets at No Charge please contact EDC Commissioner Jim

Hartford Federal Credit Union recently donated $600 to
Foodshare and over $500 in nonperishable food items that were
distributed between three food pantries, including the South
Windsor Food & Fuel Bank. The donation was proceeds from HFCU’s
annual “Change for a Change” campaign asking members and
employees to donate their spare change or a nonperishable food
item to make a change towards fighting hunger.

East Windsor's 20th Community Day
East
Windsor's 20th Annual Community Day was a Huge Success
From the Exciting Parade led by East Windsor's Police
Dept in their Parade Dress to The High School Color
Guard to both Middle School and High School Marching
Bands.
Melissa Green from Parks & Rec congratulated those
that took the challenge of running the 5k Run/Walk race
and thanked the many sponsors (many chamber members) for
there help. All Proceeds will go to benefit the East
Windsor Education Foundation who are thrilled that so
many participated in the event.
Many local Service Clubs and Business Booths allowed
Those attending to see what makes East Windsor Great.
The entertainment ran the full gambit from EWPD
Canine demos, Dance Craze Dancers, Opera House Players
presented a select moments from there latest offering
Piecemeal to a Local Rock & Roll Band tattered and Torn.
