ROCK MUSICAL "RENT" EXTENDED BY POPULAR DEMAND!

The Connecticut community theater premiere of the Pulitzer and Tony Award winning musical RENT has been extended for a fourth weekend! Originally running weekends until February 28, the Opera House Players have added performances on March 5, 6, 7 due to unprecedented advance ticket sales.

RENT by Jonathan Larson will be performed at the Broad Brook Opera House, 107 Main Street, Broad Brook, CT on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm. Tickets can be purchased online at www.operahouseplayers.org or by calling the box office at 860-292-6068. Donations will be accepted at all performances for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The Players have upgraded to a professional sound system and have installed improved aisle lighting to enhance the theatergoers' experience.

RENT is a rock musical with music and lyrics by Jonathan Larson that tells the story of a group of impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create in New York's Lower East Side in the thriving days of Bohemian Alphabet City under the shadow of AIDS.
