cover, and nowhere
is this more obvious
than in the Reminder
Gold Pages. Local
artists have
contributed their
skills to give the
Gold Pages covers
colorful images that
are familiar to
people living in the
towns covered by the
books.
The
Enfield/Windsor/Windsor
Locks directory ,
which will be
introduced in April,
is graced by a
lovely water color
of the old barn on
Simon Road in
Enfield which was
done by artist
William Hoey. Hoey,
who studied at the
Glasgow School of
Arts in his native
Scotland, is a
member of the
Tobacco Valley
Artists Association
and the newly formed
Connecticut River
Valley Artists. "The
Gold Pages is really
setting a new
standard of
excellence, " says
Jessica Moore an
employee of Reminder
Gold Pages.
"Everything from the
high quality cover
to the glossy pages
inside, is really
magazine quality".
