Thank You for Your Support at Our Recent “2nd Annual Community Spelling Bee

Dear East Windsor Community,

The East Windsor Education Foundation is so thankful for Your Support at Our Recent “2nd Annual Community Spelling Bee” held at LaNotte’s Restaurant on Feb 25th,2010.

This evening was exciting as the Community Teams fought for the honor of being the “Best Darn Spellers in East Windsor”. The words were tough but the teams spelt hard and the place was abuzz with excitement. In the final bout team “Growing Tree” sponsored by the Growing Tree Development Center Became the “Top Bee Spellers” in East Windsor(will they retain the title at next Year’s BEE.

The EWEF would like to thank our Raffle sponsors Sophia’s Restaurant, Paul’s Package Store, Hotcakes Restaurant, Ed’s Package Store, Jake’s Restaurant, Nonna’s Restaurant and the Gibson Family.

We also would like to Thanks our Team and Event Sponsors Geissler’s Supermarkets, State Senator Gary LeBeau, Opera House Players, Enfield Savings, East Windsor School Administrators, Rockville Bank, Growing Tree Child Development Center and Camp Bow Wow.

A Huge Thank You to LaNotte’s & It’s Staff who not only provided the space but the Tasty Treats enjoyed by by All.

Thanks to All of You who Supported this Evening we raised $1250 to continue Our Grant program to “Financially support Innovative Educational Opportunities & Programs to The East Windsor Public Schools and the Community”.

So far we have funded 11 grants totaling over $11,000.00 with Our next round of Grants ( up to $5000 may be available-applications due Apr 19th) with an Award Ceremony on May 19th 2010.
