Nicole Gilbert Promoted to Branch Sales Officer of
Rockville Bank's East Hartford Office

ROCKVILLE, CONN., March 11, 2008 - Nicole Gilbert has been promoted to Branch Sales Officer of Rockville Bank's Big Y East Hartford, Conn. branch at 265 Ellington Road, according to William J. McGurk, President and Chief Executive Officer.

Ms. Gilbert will be primarily responsible for sales and service, and community relations in East Hartford. She will concentrate on the development of consumer and commercial deposit accounts, residential lending, and providing customers with one-on-one financial solutions and superior customer service.

Ms. Gilbert joined Rockville Bank in 2002 and most recently was a Loan Origination Specialist. Ms. Gilbert is a graduate of Manchester High School and is currently enrolled at New England College of Finance. She resides in Manchester with her husband, Owen.
