DARLENE S. WHITE APPOINTED ROCKVILLE BANK'S
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT/OPERATIONS OFFICER

ROCKVILLE, CONN., June 19, 2006 - Darlene S. White has been appointed Rockville Bank's Senior Vice President/Operations Officer. The announcement was made by William J. McGurk, Rockville Bank President and Chief Executive Officer.

Ms. White is responsible for providing development and leadership for the overall operational and technological business of Rockville Bank. She will provide support services to all departments of the bank to ensure prompt and efficient customer service in all types of banking.

Ms. White brings 30 years of banking experience to her new position. She comes to Rockville Bank from the Polish National Credit Union in Chicopee, Mass. where she was Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President.

Ms. White resides in Cromwell, Conn. with her daughter, Kelly, and son, Ryan.
