NANCY C. MOON PROMOTED TO
ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT AT ROCKVILLE BANK

ROCKVILLE, CONN., October 17, 2006 - Nancy C. Moon has been promoted to Assistant Vice President at Rockville Bank. The announcement was made by William J. McGurk, Rockville Bank President and Chief Executive Officer.

As Assistant Vice President, Ms. Moon continues to work as the Branch Manager of Rockville Bank's Glastonbury, Conn. office, located in The Shops at Addison Village, 1009 Hebron Avenue. She is primarily responsible for business development and community relations in Glastonbury, Conn. She also concentrates on developing commercial and consumer accounts, as well as residential lending. Ms. Moon is responsible for providing clients with the best bank product for individual financial solutions, coupled with superior customer service.

Ms. Moon has been a branch manager at Rockville Bank for 10 years. Most recently, she was in charge of the bank's Vernon Circle office. Her 20 years of experience in the banking industry includes five years at the FDIC (Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation), and work at Landmark Bank.

A Manchester, Conn. resident, she is a member of the Glastonbury Chamber of Commerce, and was Treasurer of the Vernon Education Foundation from December 2003 through March 2006.
