Ribbon-Cutting
Celebration for
Rockville Bank's new
East Windsor, Conn.
branch took place
Tuesday, October 23
at 10 a.m. The free
event was held
inside the Bank's
newly constructed
office at 39
Prospect Hill Road.
The East Windsor
office is the 20th
branch for Rockville
Bank. The East
Windsor Branch
Manager is Betsy
Hope, who has been
with the bank for
nine years.
The new full-service
branch includes four
teller counter
stations, two
drive-up teller
windows and a
drive-up and walk-up
automatic teller
machine (ATMs), and
customer convenience
items such as a coin
counting machine,
document shredder,
and one flat-panel
LCD screen which
will provide
customers with news,
weather, sports and
business
information. A
computer station in
the lobby enables
customers to visit
www.rockvillebank.com
and access their
accounts. The branch
also features a
refreshment center,
offering
complimentary
beverages and
cookies.
"This is our first
full-service office
in East Windsor,
although we have
enjoyed an active
presence in town for
six years, inside
the Big Y World
Class Supermarket in
Prospect Plaza,"
explains William J.
McGurk, President
and Chief Executive
Officer of Rockville

look forward to

The special 10 a.m.
Community Grand
Opening featured the
ceremonial cutting
of a ribbon of
genuine $1 bills,
and the presentation
of $5,000 in
contributions to the
East Windsor
community. Rockville
Bank presented
checks for $1,000
each to the East
Windsor Police, and
the East Windsor
Senior Center. The
Bank also presented
$500 each to the
Warehouse Point Fire
Department, the
Broad Brook Fire
Department, East
Windsor's Five
Corner Cupboard Food
Pantry, the
Warehouse Point
Library, the Broad
Brook Library, and
the East Windsor
Educational
Foundation. In
addition, Rockville
Bank has purchased
three Adopt-a-Bricks
on the East Windsor
Veterans Cemetery
Walkway.
The event also
featured thank you
gifts, door prizes,
and refreshments and
will be followed by
future celebrations
that will include
additional gifts and
prizes.
