We are looking for volunteers to aid us in hosting this event. Cast Members are needed to dress up in costume as ghouls to help scare the public in a variety of venues. Acting experience is not required, only a desire to perform as a ghoul. The event is held on 8 nights, though attendance during all nights is not required. We welcome your participation on the nights you are available. Rehearsal dates will be held on September 14th & September 20th. To sign up to volunteer or for more information please email Lucy at lgoins@ct-trolley.org
This month we recognize Bill Babbitt as volunteer of the month! Bill handles all of our security on the property and manages our Rails to the Darkside event including scaring. The Museum would not be able to hold Rails to the Darkside if it were not for Bill and his family who put in a tremendous amount of hours.
Pumpkin Patch Parties are fun filled adventures where you ride on a trolley car out to the pumpkin patch where children can pick out a pumpkin. Additionally when you return back to the museum you can decorate the pumpkins, play in the corn box, enjoy the outside play area and the entire museum. Don’t forget you can take as many trolley rides as you would like. To learn more visit here

The Guest Motorman experience at the Connecticut Trolley Museum allows you to be in control of one of our historic trolley cars.
Your experience starts with brief training about the operations of the railway and how the trolley you will operate functions. Under the guidance of your instructor, you operate a trolley car over our 1.5 mile-long railway… twice!
