View from Church and Main- It has been a busy exciting week for the East Windsor Chamber from announcing that Syme Family Farm has been chosen as 2020’s East Windsor “Business of the Year” (see article under press releases) to having East Windsor’s 1st Selectman Jason Bowzsa and 2 of East Windsors Economic Development Commission Members Bob Lyke and Gilbert Hayes attend this weeks TVCA Legislative Breakfast.
The 8 area Legislators (including Rep. Davis) talked on many things including a revamping of the DECD aid to business including loans procedures.
Windsor Federal Savings President George Hermann suggested that the State work more in partnership with industries like Banking in regards to Business Loan Opportunities etc.
EW-EDC Commissioner Gilbert Hayes was asking how we can provide more Public Transportation to our Community to assist in folks securing gainful employment etc.
Discussion was also had regarding creating educational opportunities in fields such as manufacturing. (Don’t forget to register for Feb 11th TVCA “Business After Hours” hosted by Bradley Regional at Luppoleto Brewing-6 Chambers Networking)
