The Garcia Project’s performances are based on actual set lists performed by The Jerry Garcia Band. All of their shows are classic recreations of a Jerry Garcia Band set list from 1976 to 1995. For anyone that never had a chance to experience the Jerry Garcia Band or for fans that want to relive a classic show, The Garcia Project delivers.
With precise arrangements and the proper instrumentation and feel for the various eras, The Garcia Project faithfully channels and projects the feelings, emotions and music that propelled the Jerry Garcia Band and the fans through many years of musical bliss. It’s about family, soul searching, rejoicing, contemplating, celebrating, seeking truth and loving one another.
Praised by Dennis McNally, the press, and fans, The Garcia Project has been recreating classic Jerry Garcia Band set lists with stunning accuracy and detail across the country for the past 12 years. They recently finished their new album called “Spirit: a tribute to Jerry Garcia and the spiritual songs he performed”, produced by Maria Muldaur and featuring Jerry Garcia’s bandmates Peter Rowan, Jacklyn LaBranch, Buzz Buchanan and Maria Muldaur. The CD and other merchandise will be available for sale at this show.

Hands and feet linked to his instrument, he makes electronic music from unexpected elements, with rhythms that ranged from funk to acid techno, improvising with keyboards, effects pedals and the theremin which has become emblematic of his project.
Mezerg merges the electronic with the acoustic to create an impressive and unique live performance that you can’t take your eyes off. Somewhere between house music and an acoustic performance, this nightlife one-man band pays homage to both the jazz bars and the nightclubs of this world with a whirlwind of energy and irresistible sounds.
After a triumphal tour all over Europe he is ready to bring his unique sound in the US.

All aboard the elegant Chicago, Aurora & Elgin Railroad 303 known as the “Roarin’ Elgin” or the “Great Third Rail” for special Winterfest Tunnel of Lights experience. Your Trolley Elf will be onboard to greet visitors, take pictures and make your trip a magical one!
The museum has teamed up with Campiti Ventures who has created holiday hologram short films. There will be several displays to view during the tunnel of lights trolley ride and while visiting in the Visitor Center. This is a unique experience for all ages!
Elf on the Elgin and Winterfest and the Tunnel of Lights is held rain or shine.
