Oct 11 @ 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm

As the fall chill fills the air, on the darkest of nights, mournful cries of the abandoned dead are heard on the tracks at the Connecticut Trolley Museum. Come for a scare if you dare…the next trolley ride is an express to the Darkside! During this haunted experience, ride vintage trolleys into the dark woods for a fear that you will never forget. Listen to the tale of yesteryear, as you learn of a hastily moved cemetery whose bodies were left behind…their angry souls seeking their revenge. Will you survive? The event will be held on Friday and Saturday nights starting October 4th. This experience is rated PG-13 and may be too intense for the squeamish. Hours are 7pm-9:30pm (gates open at 6:15pm for ticket sales). Admission is $18 per person and recommended for ages 16+.

East Windsor Neaten Your Neighborhood Weekend

Our last neaten your neighborhood event went so well we are doing another one and could use everyone’s help!

The concept of the weekend is simple! We are stronger and more efficient working as a community! Each group of family and friends picks what street or neighborhood they would like to tackle at any time over the weekend of October 18th-20th. Safely collect small debris type trash. If you can fit the bag in your trash can, awesome! Otherwise I have a pickup truck we can use to collect the bags that will not fit.

Please message the page or contact an admin to add your name to the growing list of families and friends who are choosing streets!

Even if you cannot attend you can help by sharing on Social Media!

We have a few basic rules.
1. Be safe. Do not pick up unsafe items. USE GLOVES!
(eg needles, diapers bodily fluid items or toxic items)

2. We DO NOT do bulk pickup. We are not directly associated with the town and do not have the resources at this time to do that.

3. DO NOT go on private property.

4. DO NOT put yourself in danger by going into words or brush. We had an issue of poison Ivy last time.

5. DO NOT post photos of peoples property or make posts about blight type situations. We are coming together as a community to help not to hurt anyone’s feelings or offend anyone.

6. Please DO HAVE FUN!

7. Post Inspiring Update photos to the event page!

8. Share and tell your friends! Feel free to use hashtags!
