Five Corner Cupboard Food Pantry
PLEASE HELP!!! With an Increase in Need a
“Five Corner Cupboard Food Drive” is being held from Now until June 7.
The following East Windsor Restaurants have boxes in their lobbies for non-perishable food donations:
Nonna’s Restaurant(RTE 5)
Main Street Grille(Main St. Broad Brook)
Roberto’s(RTE 5 Pasco Commons)
Sunny House(Across from the High School)
Sophia’s Restaurant (Corner of 140 and 5)
Hot Cakes (RTE 5)
Main Fish Market Restaurant(Bridge Street).
The following Businesses also have boxes at their place of business for the same purpose:
Geisslers Supermarket (Warehouse Point)
Windsor Federal Bank (1Olenders Plaza-Just inside the vestibule)
Edward Jones Financial(Sofias Plaza)
Joe’s Fine Wine (Golden Gavel Plaza).
Non-perishable food donations can also be dropped off at the 5 Corner Food Pantry located next to the The First Congregational Church, 124 Scantic Rd, East Windsor.
Although all donations are helpful the following are more essential:
Feminine products
shaving cream
razors
paper towels
kleenex
cleaning products
Diapers sizes 3, 5 & 6
Baby wipes
Brownie mix
evaporated milk
Whole tomatoes
pasta sauce
100% juice
hearty soups
inst potatoes
Canned fruit
pancake syrup
flour
sugar
pasta (NOT elbows or spaghetti)
Canned meat & fish
Frosting
Meal helpers
Condiments
The Pantry also takes milk, bakery items( inc bread) and garden fruit & produce. Perishables should be brought to the pantry on Mondays 8-12 and Tuesdays 8-6. Please do not leave them in a donation bin.
