The Warehouse Point Library has two virtual programs available this December, one focusing on family fun, the other is a holiday program for adults.  More programs to follow!

The Warehouse Point Library is offering a live virtual program on the fascinating real life story of The Night Before Christmas by Clement Moore as told by educational entertainer, Martina Mathisen, along with stories of our American Christmas traditions.

Why do we kiss under a mistletoe?  Why do we decorate with poinsettias?  Where did the jolly old man in the red suit come from, anyway?

And so many more traditions explored. Join the interactive fun, via Zoom, on Wednesday, December 9 at 6:30 p.m. Register at www.warehousepointlibrary.info.  Call the library at 860-623-5482 for more information.

The Library is offering Magic By George, a Virtual Magic Show for the entire family on, Saturday, December 19 at 11 a.m., just in time to start your holiday celebration!

Magic By George is more than just magic tricks performed in front of a webcam.
t’s an interactive, multimedia show combining live-streaming video with magic, music, warm hearted comedy, and computer graphics — George brings a memorable, live experience straight to YOUR computer screen.
Viewers will actively participate in the program to help create a unique event and multiple HD cameras will give everyone a front seat. It’s the same level of fun as seeing George in-person!
