Winterfest 2018 and the “Tunnel of Lights” will begin Friday, Novembe 23^rd. Winterfest will be open from 5PM until 9PM Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve. Santa will be onsite in a historic caboose for photos and to give a small gift to each child until he has to fly back to the North Pole on Christmas Eve. Winterfest and the “Tunnel of Lights” is celebrating its 40^th operating year as a family holiday tradition. Halls are decked both inside and outside with over 15,000 light bulbs. Outside, closed trolley cars transport jolly guests down a tunnel of lights as they sing traditional Christmas Carols with their trolley car operators. For an open air view of the “Tunnel of Lights,” one open sleigh car is lit up entirely with holiday lights. Be sure to dress warm and bring blankets. The Museum will hold a special Winterfest night for Museum Members on Thursday, November 29^th from 5pm-9pm. The public is also welcome to visit provided they donate a toy for the “Love for Landon” Toy Drive. Each visitor who donates a toy will receive half off admission. Also donate a $1.00 to wear your PJ’s! Let’s see how many toys we can stuff in the trolley!!
