Easter Eggspress
March 27th, 28th, April 2nd & 3rd
Motorwoman Cotton-Tail will be roaming the grounds and posing for pictures distantly. Each child will receive an Easter egg with a surprise inside when they complete a Scavenger Hunt, make a Bunny Ear Craft & visit the Fire Truck Museum. Earn up to three filled eggs! Museum Members receive half off admission. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
Junior Motorman Program
Interested in joining the Jr. Motorman program? This program is geared for ages 15-17 and will run for three consecutive Saturdays starting on April 10th. At the end of the program you will have learned the basics of operating, maintenance of cars & maintenance of the right of way. Once the program is finished you will be ready to volunteer at the Museum. The goal of this program is to train the new generation of Motorman and Conductors. All participants are encouraged to become Museum Members. To learn more about the program click on the video below.
Jr. Motorman Program
If you are a frequent visitor to the museum, even if it is a few times a year, having a membership saves you money. Membership entitles you to free general admission to the Connecticut Trolley Museum. As with normal admission, this means multiple trolley car rides and access to the Fire Truck Museum.

Safety at Play
MASKS REQUIRED
  • Face masks must be worn over the nose and mouth by all guests ages 2 and older while in the museum.
MAINTAINING SAFE SOCIAL DISTANCING
  • In accordance with the recommendations by public health officials, we will open at a reduced capacity of about 50% to allow for proper social distancing.
  • Timed entry tickets will ensure a consistent flow for visitors and allow for ample amounts of personal space.
BEST PRACTICES
  • Restrooms, lobby, operating trolleys, gift shop & craft tables are disinfected frequently throughout the day.
  • Sanitizers are being provided for guests to use and are scattered throughout the Museum.
  • Employees must wear face masks and may not report to work if they are sick. If you or anyone in your party is not feeling healthy, please stay at home.
