Scholarship started in Memory of Elizabeth “Betsy” Burns
Recently we lost a Great Supporter of the East Windsor Chamber, Business and the People of East Windsor and the Region Our Good Friend Betsy Burns.
I personally had the pleasant opportunity to serve with Betsy on many Town Committees as well as worked together to assist those that are less fortunate in Our Community.
She was one of the Many Fine Folks which Make East Windsor “Where the Sun Rises” on Business and Community.
I am so Pleased that The Town has established a Scholarship in her Name.

The Town of East Windsor is establishing a scholarship fund through the East Windsor Community Services Department in memory of Elizabeth “Betsy” Burns.
The scholarship will help families in our community during a difficult time in their lives. Betsy’s passion, dedication and commitment to East Windsor was strong.
Betsy worked for the Town of East Windsor Social Services Department (now the Community Services Department) for 30 years.
Through her time as an employee and having served on several town boards and commissions, Betsy touched the lives of many East Windsor residents in their time of need. It is our hope that this fund will continue Betsy’s lasting impact for generations to come.
Anyone interested in contributing to this scholarship in Betsy’s honor may do so through East Windsor Community Services by mailing a check made payable to the Town of East Windsor at 25 School Street, East Windsor CT 06088.
