Summers Not Over at CTM!! (Live Music and More)

Join the Trolley Museum for live music in the outside courtyard with WhoDat (deep funk, soul, and rock and roll from Bourbon Street and beyond) and take a trolley ride while enjoying the beautiful outdoors. Bring your own lawn chair and pack yourself a picnic basket full of your favorite goodies (bring-your-own beer and wine is allowed) for relaxing while listening to the music. Tickets can be purchased at the Museum.

Dress up as your favorite Super Hero or Princess and join us for a fun memorable day. It is sure to be a SUPER time! Enjoy a trolley ride, tour of the main display hall and make your own super hero mask or princess crown. Spiderman & Belle will be roaming the museum grounds from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM!

The Museum will celebrate our anniversary showcasing some of our collection including equipment that aren’t normally viewable with a trolley parade. Experience the golden age of transportation as trolley cars parade by. Additionally we will hold a Static Air Show with Skylark Airpark, A BBQ Food Truck will be on-site and live Music by Steel N Eazy. The Trolley Cars will take you to and from the airfield to view the airplanes.
The Museum will be open from 11am-6pm with the Air Show, Music & Food Truck from 11am-4pm. The Trolley Parade will begin at 5pm. Tickets will be $15 per person and no charge for children under 2. Everyone with a ticket is welcome to stay for the Trolley Parade at 5pm.
Additionally inside the Visitor Center you will find more trolley cars, artifacts and a gift shop to buy that ‘special’ souvenir. On the same grounds is the Connecticut Fire Truck Museum complete with antique fire trucks and apparatus.
All activities and Fire Truck Museum entrance is included with your admission price.

The scenes are set for the 1920s-1930s, transporting photographers back to the heyday of the trolley car. This exclusive after-hours event is for railfans and photographers alike. Various scenes featuring the Trolley Museum’s collection with our period-dressed volunteers will test your skills with night photography and provide unique images to add to your portfolio or photo album.
Photographers, don’t forget your shutter release remote! Some walking over uneven surfases will be necessary. Flash lighting will be provided at every scene.
This approximately 4-hour event is only open to 12 photographers

CT Summer at the Museum FREE
If you are a Connecticut resident, you can visit the Museum FREE this summer! Kids 18 and under, plus one accompanying adult can explore Connecticut Museums for FREE this summer.
CT Summer at the Museum runs from July 1st- September 6th. We are excited to be participating in the State of Connecticut ‘s new initiative to make sure all families have the opportunity to visit Museums this summer! We thank the State of Connecticut for the financial support that is making this program possible!
