So Much Excitement in East Windsor and the Region this week and coming up!
This week we not only had a Great TVCA Networking event at hosted by fellow TVCA Chamber Bradley Regional but Luppoleto Brewing was the perfect spot for FUN and Networking. Thanks to Both for making all members of the TVCA feel Welcome.
(Don’t forget that the TVCA CARES Regional Pantry Drive ends tomorrow-be sure and drop off your donation)
Then at EWCC’s Monthly Business/Board of Directors meeting we had East Windsor’s 1st Selectman Jason Bowzsa visit offering a Great Opportunity for Our Business Community to advertise while providing the Community with Information in the form of a Quarterly Town Newsletter.(more info will be forthcoming).
At that same meeting we had Miranda Hamidovic of A New England Auto & Truck Superstore voted in as our newest member of Our Board of Directors. EWCC President Paul Vella commented”It is excellent that Miranda has joined the Board. She will be asset for Our Board,Our Members and The Community”.
Last night I attended the “Struggle with Transportation” discussion held at the Community Room at Mill Pond Village presented by East Windsor (HAT)Hunger Action Team, Foodshare and East Windsor Human Services.
The program was informative and residents discussed how we need to try and provide Public Transportation for our Seniors,Disabled and those looking for Jobs.
1st Selectman Jason Bowzsa said that it will be possibly a long process(dealing with grants etc)but the process has begun.
Selectman Marie DeSousa was also present and provided some excellent ideas as well. A 2nd meeting will be planned shortly.
