The Warehouse Point Library, 107 Main Street, East Windsor, CT has put in-person events in the library on hold, but we are offering virtual programming for both children and adults this October.  Registration is required for all zoom programs and can be done on the library’s website:  www.warehousepointlibrary.info.  Need more information, contact the library at 860-623-5482.

ZOOM into STORY TIME with Mrs. M. for an interactive program on Thursdays at 4 p.m.  October 8, 15, 22 and 29.  This program is for children ages 4-7.   Vote for your favorite book and guess what is inside Mrs. M’s memory box.  A prepared craft will be available Monday-Friday to pickup at the library or curbside for your child to do at home before the weekly zoom story time.

 ZOOM into STORY TIME for children ages 2-5 years old with Mrs. M will be held on Fridays at 11 a.m. October 9, 16, 23 and 30.   This program will emphasize stories, songs, finger plays and fun!    A craft for you to do at home with your child will be available Monday-Friday to pick-up at the library or curbside before the weekly zoom story time.

Club READ on Zoom! begins Monday, October 5 at 4 p.m. and continues October 19 and 26.  Your child will be reading 1, 2 or 3 titles from three Nutmeg Book Award Nominees 2021 chosen by Mrs. K.  Expect lively interactive conversation, questions and a surprise book related activity each week.  This program is for ages 7-11.

Club Tech on Zoom, for ages 8 and older will be held on Wednesdays at 4 p.m. beginning October 7 and continuing October 14, 21 and 28.  Join us in designing super cool projects at home while zooming with Mrs. K.

Our monthly Book Discussion returns on Zoom. Join our director, Lois Hiller on Wednesday, October 14 at 1 p.m. for a lively discussion of Life Undercover:  Coming of Age in the CIA by Amaryllis Fox.  Come into the Library to pick up your copy of the book or ask for curbside service.

Join us outside the building on Saturday, October 10 at 10:30 a.m. for an Irish Dance performance and mini lesson by SRI Irish Dance Academy of South Windsor.  Some chairs will be provided.  Bringing a chair or blanket will insure you have a seat.  And remember you don’t need to be Irish to enjoy Irish dancing!  Bring the family!  Masks and social distancing are required.
