EAST WINDSOR, CONN., November 13th, 2017– The Connecticut Trolley Museum presents Winterfest 2017 and “The Tunnel of Lights” beginning Friday, November 24th. A new addition this is year to the trolley ride is a tree light show synchronized with music. Winterfest will be open from 5PM until 9PM on Nov 24th-26th, Dec. 1st -3rd, Dec. 8th-10th, Dec 15th-17th and Dec 22nd– 23rd. Santa will be onsite until he heads back to the North Pole after closing on Dec. 23rd. The event will also be held Dec. 26th -30th from 5PM-9PM for School Vacation Break.
Join hundreds of others and start a family tradition of coming for a trolley ride during the holiday season. Whether you ride a closed car or brave the cold to ride the open “electric sleigh”, we promise you a good time and one that you’ll remember for years. Join your motormen in singing traditional Christmas carols as the trolley makes its way through the “Tunnel of Lights”. When you return, head inside the Visitors Center which has been transformed into a Winter Wonderland complete with model trains, decorations galore and you can even buy a delicious cup of hot cocoa to sip as you enjoy the entertainment. Additionally, meet and pose for a picture with Santa inside one of the historic trolleys, Santa will also have a gift for each child. Admission prices are $12 for Adults, $11 for Seniors (62+), Children (ages 4-12) $10, children (3 & under) $3 and Museum Members receive half off admission.
