East Windsor Social Services Press Release for Pop Up Farmers markets at East Windsor Concert Series (Thursdays Jun 26th-Aug 28th )
Hello Farmers!
East Windsor Social Services would like to extend an invitation to you to be part of the Pop-Up Farmers Markets this summer. You may participate in these Pop-Up Markets with as much or as minimal involvement as you wish.
The Pop-Ups will take place during our concert series which runs from June 26th to August 28th (see attached schedule) at East Windsor Park in Broad Brook. The start time will be 6:30 pm with an end time of 8:30 pm. You can start setting up your booth after 5 pm. The concert series is very popular, and the average attendance is approximately 200 people.
Please note: Our National Night Out Celebration is scheduled for Tuesday, August 5th. This will also be held at East Windsor Park in Broad Brook. This event brings large crowds and will feature a live band, food trucks, local businesses and community organizations.
The Pop-Ups are an opportunity for seniors to use their Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) Card as well as those who have SNAP and WIC cards. However, your participation does not require that you accept SFMNP, WIC or SNAP cards. This is also a great way for you to give out any promotional information about your farm (i.e., special events, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, etc.).
