East Windsor’s Park & Rec Fall Programs and Events

 Tiny Tots Soccer                                                                                                  East Windsor Parks & Recreation is sponsoring a tiny tots program for children ages 3 & 4.  This program will teach the fundamentals of the sport of soccer.  The East Windsor High School Girls’ soccer team will be showcasing their skills while teaching your youngster how to dribble, shoot, and score! This program will take place at the East Windsor High School Soccer Field.

Dates:  9/12, 9/19, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17                   Ages:  3-4                                                                            Time:  Wednesdays   5:45pm-6:45pm                   Fee:  $35.00

Fall Yoga w/ Diane Ross –

Join yoga instructor Diane Ross for 8 weeks of yoga!  Choose to attend once a week or both days.  Registration forms must be filled out and checks can be made payable to Diane Ross.                                                                                                                                   Dates:  Mondays:  9/17-11/19 (No 10/8, 11/12)                            Wednesdays:  9/19-11/14 (No 10/31)                Time:  6:15pm-7:30pm                                                                  Location: East Windsor Middle School Health Room                                                                                                                      Fee:  Residents: $30 once a week or $45 2x/week                      Non-Residents: $35 once a week or $50 2x/week Walk-Ins: $5 per class

Mad Science – Eureka! Invention                                                                                             East Windsor Parks & Recreation, along with Mad Science, is sponsoring two 6-week programs for boys and girls in grades 1-4.  This program provides children with a unique and fun science experience.

Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead Using LEGO @ East Windsor Middle School                              

Children are learning and strengthening building techniques and problem solving while working with more complex LEGO mechanisms that reinforce skills learned in the younger age programs.  Most challenges are open ended and individualized for your child’s ability and interest.                                                                                                                               Dates:  10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/13, 11/20, 11/27                     Ages: 10-12

Time:  Tuesdays 3:00pm-4:00pm                                                                    Fee:  $120.00

Hobby Quest – Magic! at Broad Brook School                                                                                                                     Abracadabra!  You will be transformed when you learn to perform tricks with Magic Masters this fall!  The Disappearing Deck, Three Magic Wands and Coin Increasing Bag are just a few of the astounding tricks you will learn in this exciting program.  Class is designed to enhance communication and performance skills in a supportive, creative atmosphere.

Dates:  10/3, 10/10, 10/24, 11/7, 11/28, 12/5, 12/19                     Grades:  K-4                                                                       Time:  Wednesdays 3:45pm-4:45pm                                           Fee:  $109.00

Futsal & Street Soccer at East Windsor Middle School                                                            

This program is a major step in developing a player’s ball skills and increasing ball confidence that they can bring back to their school, town and club soccer teams!  Price includes FSS Shirt (please indicate shirt size at time of registration.) Late Bus will be available.  Program will take place in the East Windsor Middle School Gym                                                      Dates:  10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19, 11/26 & 12/3                              Grades:  5-8                                                                       Time:  Thursdays 3:00pm-4:00pm                                                                Fee:  $80.00

Jumping Clay Workshops at Broad Brook School                                                                                            

Each participant will create their own project using Jumping Clay while learning about basic shapes and color mixing. Jumping Clay is an air-drying polymer clay that is 100% safe and non-toxic and completely mess free! Our workshops provide step-by-step instruction and assistance by trained instructors while encouraging creative self-expression and building confidence. All projects will be taken home the same day – just leave them out to dry for 24 hours! Beginners welcome!

Art-Ventures for Kids:  Art-Ventures Around the World 

 East Windsor Parks & Recreation, along with Art-Ventures for Kids, is sponsoring an 8-week program that provides children with a unique and fun art experience using quality art materials.  Registration can be done online at www.ARTventuresforKids.com                                  

Dates:  11/13-1/15 (No 12/25 or 1/1)                               Grades: K-4
