Dear Friend of the Connecticut Trolley Museum,
Next autumn will mark the 79th anniversary of our founding and we’d like to be around for at least another 79 years! You can play a role in our continued success and so I am asking you to consider making a donation to the Museum before year’s end.
Individual gift giving matters as it helps to support the overall operating budget which for this year is $434,000. The Museum’s volunteer Development Committee which I chair, has done a good job in raising funds and in-kind contributions from businesses and foundations but many of these gifts are earmarked for special programs or one-time projects. Its’s the general unrestricted gifts, combined with earned revenue-admissions, special events gift shop sales, etc. that help to keep us financial secure.
I made my own personal contribution earlier this year as have many others. If you have already done so, thank you. If not, your support of this wonderful cultural asset known as the Connecticut Trolley Museum would be greatly appreciated!
