Harvest for the Hungry @ Various Locations

This is the Time of Year for Fun and Adventure!

Unfortunately it is a Time of Great Need for Our Less Fortunate Neighbors!

The Business Community and the 5 Corner Cupboard are running a Month Long “Harvest”!

The “Harvest” includes not only donations to the Pantry but Businesses will be using there locations to have Non Perishable foods dropped to them.      

       Windsor Federal Savings at 1 Shoham Road and Edward Jones in Sofia’s Plaza both have drop spots operating Year Long.
Also the East Windsor Chamber of Commerce Office located in the Opera House Office Complex will be accepting drops for the Month of August.

The EWCC Encourages Other Our Members other Businesses and Residents to have drop boxes,street wide drives etc to make sure that Our Local Pantry has enough to assist those in need.

If You are a Business who will be a Drop Spot please Email and we will include you in the listing of these spots.

Super Hero and Princess Day @ CT Trolley Museum
Aug 24 @ 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Dress up as your favorite Super Hero or Princess and join us for a fun memorable day. Additionally, Super Hero & Princesses will be roaming the grounds from 12pm-3pm and face painting will be held from 12pm-3pm! Take as many trolley rides as you would like operated by period dressed motormen. Learn historic information about each car you ride and how the museum began. Inside the Visitor Center you will find more static trolley cars and artifacts and a gift shop to buy that ‘special’ souvenir. On the same grounds is the Connecticut Fire Museum complete with antique fire trucks and apparatus. All activities and Fire Truck Museum entrance is included with your admission price. Admission prices are $12 for Adults, $11 for Seniors (62+), Children (ages 4-12) $10, children (ages 3 & under) $3 and Museum Members are half off. Storytime Trolley @ CT Trolley Museum

Stories come alive for children when they are read to aloud! Beginning Monday, June 18th and every Monday during the summer at 11am enjoy storytime inside on of our operating trolleys. When the story is over you will be treated with a 3 mile round trip trolley ride. Adults $10, Children ages 4-11 $7, 3 and under free and Museum members half off.
