The Heart has become Symbol of Hope, Unity and Perseverance throughout this pandemic.
Hand making something for someone else with love, is one of the most rewarding experiences in life. The time, sweat, tears, passion, love and thoughtfulness that goes into a handmade item cannot really be described or put into words.
Unfortunately throughout this pandemic our Crafters, Handmade Artisans and Small Businesses have suffered unimaginable blows to their businesses.
Craft fairs and events for the year have shut down.
Businesses have been closed and many of us have been left hanging not knowing where we will stand a year from now.
Driving around town though and am inspired by the hearts I see.
I have been deeply touched by the many pages of people doing random acts of kindness and helping one another.
We as a Community are Amazing and Resilient.
This page started as a group to bring joy to Mothers on Mothers Day through handcrafted items. Lets take that idea and now use this page to give the gift of handmade from the heart. Whether it be making something yourself for a neighbor or friend, or supporting our local businesses on this page to craft something special for you. We can get through this by supporting and uplifting each other.
I urge you guys to post your handmade creations you gift to one another. I urge you guys to utilize this page to shop small and buy locally. I urge you guys to meet and chat with your local small business owners through this forum. Most of all I urge you guys to remember that we are all in this together. Handmade is love and love is all we need in times like these.
