Easter Fun!
Breakfast with the Easter Bunny-April 1st 8am-11am
Hop on over for a EGGcellent breakfast and a morning full of Easter Eggspress Trolley fun. Breakfast includes eggs, pancakes, assorted donuts, coffee, juice, and water. Enjoy breakfast, a trolley ride, the Easter Bunny and Easter activities to earn Easter eggs with a surprise inside. On the same grounds is the Connecticut Fire Museum complete with antique fire trucks and apparatus. All activities, breakfast, the Easter Bunny, and Fire Truck Museum entrance is included with your admission price. Admission prices are $25 for any age and $20 for Museum Members.

Easter EGGspress Trolley-April 1st, 2nd, 7th & 8th 
Hop on board the Easter EGGspress Trolley! We hatched an EGGcellent event for the entire family, you won’t want to miss out! The Easter Bunny will be roaming the grounds and posing for pictures from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Each child will receive an Easter egg with a surprise inside when they complete a scavenger hunt, make a bunny ear craft and visit the fire truck museum. Earn up to three filled eggs!

Take a trolley ride operated by period dressed motormen. Learn historic information about each car you ride and how the museum began. Inside the Visitor Center you will find more static trolley cars and artifacts, a theater showing a kids Easter movie and a gift shop to buy that ‘special’ souvenir. On the same grounds is the Connecticut Fire Museum complete with antique fire trucks and apparatus. All activities and fire truck museum entrance is included with your admission price.

Admission prices are $13 for ages 2 and up, under 2 is free for lap seating. Museum Members receive half off admission.

School Vacation Week April 10th-14th
All week long CTM will hold many activities including, Trolley Rides: Take a Trolley ride operated by period dressed motormen. Learn historic information about each car you ride and how the museum began. Trolley Experiences: Get up close and personal as you climb aboard stationary trolleys from our incredible collection in our Visitors Center. From streetcars to Interurban cars this is your chance to take the controllers and let your imagination “operate”. Crafting Station: Make a Motorman Hat, create your own trolley fare ticket and more! Take your new creations home with you for future use. Dress-up Station: Dress up as a Motorman or Conductor! Great Photo op! LEGO Build: During your visit build your own Lego creation focusing on trolley and trains from the past and future. After you creation is built display it for all to see throughout the week. Fire Truck Museum: View over 15 Fire Trucks dating back to 1923. Learn more about the Fire Truck Museum’s collection along with historic Fire Fighting Equipment. (Admission to Fire Truck Museum is included in the Trolley Museum admission ticket).There are picnic tables on the grounds so pack a lunch and relax awhile as you watch the trolleys arrive and depart from North Road Station. Admission is $12.00 for adults, $11.00 for seniors 62 and up, $11.00 for youth ages 12-17 and $9.00 for ages 2-11. Connecticut Trolley Museum members and children under 2 are admitted free of charge. Tickets can be purchased on-site when you arrive.

If you are a frequent visitor to the museum, even if it is a few times a year, having a membership saves you money. Membership entitles you to free general admission to the Connecticut Trolley Museum and the Fire Truck Museum. Trolley Museum membership is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by IRS Tax Code, section 170.

Volunteer Motorman Training
DING DING! Have you always wanted to get behind the controllers and operate a Trolley? Connecticut Trolley Museum is in the process of recruiting new volunteer Motorman/Motorwoman. Training will start April 10th. No previous experience is required. The session will cover the mechanical aspects of trolley car operations & railway rules. We do ask if you complete the course that you can commit to volunteering at least twice a month during the operational season. The course fee is $100 which includes your one year membership, all printed training materials, name tag, and upon final graduation your brass hat badge. You will also join our all-volunteer staff who keep the Museum rolling along for the enjoyment of visitors.
