East Windsor “Where the Sun Rises” on Business & Community
Chamber Member Spotlight-
Whether you are a farmer, large property owner, commercial landscaper, or just trying to save time mowing your lawn, we want you in the equipment that best suits you and your family.
When you purchase a piece of equipment from us, we want to keep you as a customer for life. With full parts and service departments, we will help you keep your machine up and running.
(and for those “oops” moments, our service department has got your back!)
Our Story
In 1980 Scot Stanton started selling John Deere farm equipment in East Windsor. He became an asset to the agricultural community in Connecticut, serving as president of the Connecticut Farm Bureau and board member of the North Eastern Equipment Dealers Association. Scot has five children. His strong family values have set the tone for the way we interact with our communities and our customers. You can always count on Scot for a story, a joke, or a round of golf!
Our Plainfield store was opened in 1997, the same year Scot’s son Nate was born. Nate graduated from SUNY Cobleskill and now works at our East Windsor location in the parts department. Two years later, Scot opened our Canaan location. Both our Plainfield and Canaan stores were opened as combination agriculture and lawn and garden stores.
Stanton Equipment happily supports local causes such as local fire and police forces, 4-H initiatives, The Boy Scouts of America, Veterans associations, local sports teams, the Special Olympics, rotary clubs and more. We pride ourselves on being a part of every community we have a presence in.
Amanda Stanton, Scot’s oldest daughter, started working full time at Stanton Equipment in 2015. She is a graduate of Bryant University and is also an active member of her community. You can often find her working on sales and marketing initiatives with a cup of coffee in hand.
In 2017, Stanton Equipment expanded our East Windsor location to sell lawn and garden equipment including riding lawn mowers, residential and commerical zero turn mowers, compact utility tractors and more!
We look forward to sharing our story with you as it continues!
