Hello East Windsor Hunger Action Team Network Member,

       September is Hunger Action Month!  And we would like to encourage you to consider doing one or more of the following during September:

  1. Mention to your colleagues, friends and/or family that you are a member of a Hunger Action Team that is working to address the roots causes of hunger in your community.
  2. Encourage them to join you in participating in one of the many local events.

  3. Attend the Hungry for Change Conference, on Thursday, September 20th from 8:00 am – 12:30 pm at Chrysalis Conference Center, 255 Homestead Ave, Hartford.
    Topics will include:
    Using data and community voice to raise awareness and support for the issue of hunger;
    Updates on the current state of federal nutrition programs and how you can take action; and
    Nonpartisan ways to get out the vote this November.
