November activities at the Warehouse Point Library
The Warehouse Point Library, 107 Main Street, East Windsor will be celebrating the November holidays with a story on our website, www. warehousepointlibrary.info each week for children ages 2 and up. Listen to a Veteran’s Day Story anytime at home beginning November 1 through the 11. The first 15 children who stop in the library from Thursday, November 5th through Tuesday, November 10th may pick up a FREE American flag. 
Listen to a Diwali Story available on-line Thursday November 12 through 18. Diwali Mandala Fuzzy posters will be given out to the first 25 children who stop in the library during this time.
Listen to a Thanksgiving Story Thursday November 19th through Saturday, November 28th. Pick up a Thanksgiving craft to do at home beginning Thursday, November 19 through Wednesday, November 25th. Registration is required for the pick-up craft. You may pick up in the library or request curbside pickup. Register on-line, beginning November 2.
The CT Humanities Book Voyager Program, Tales from around the World – with a Twist! will run every Tuesday in November at 4:30 p.m. This virtual discussion, hosted by storyteller Carolyn Stearns, is recommended for children in first, second and third grade, who will receive a copy of the four books. Zoom Story Time with Mrs. M continues on Thursdays for children ages 4-7, at 4 p.m. and Fridays for children 2-5 at 11 a.m. Club READ on Zoom will be held on Monday, November 9 at 4 p.m.
Discovery Book Club on Zoom for adults will be held on Wednesday, November 18 at 1 p.m. This month’s selection is “Radio Free Vermont: A Fable of Resistance” by Bill McKibben. Copies of the book are available at the library.
