North Central CT: Nutmeg Senior Rides Executive Director Margaret Smith Hale announces that The Walk sceheduled for March 21 has been Postponed
Transportation is the link to independence, quality of life and social interaction. The mission of Nutmeg Senior Rides is to keep people over 50 active after they stop driving. Rides are given in private cars by dedicated volunteers and can include work, errands, and visiting loved ones at nursing homes. There is no restriction on the purpose of the ride. The service area includes the towns of Bloomfield, East Granby, East Windsor, Enfield, Granby, Somers, South Windsor, Suffield, Windsor and Windsor Locks.
