East Windsor, CT Police Department reminds us that here in East Windsor, school’s back in session on Tuesday August 26th, 2025.
That week, the EWPD will be out conducting directed traffic enforcement, specifically looking for violations of CGS 14-279 – Vehicles to stop for school bus.
This type of illegal passing is extremely dangerous, the EWPD urge everyone to be on the lookout ahead of time for stopped school busses. Additionally, the fines for these violations are HEAVY so here’s your verbal warning now….Slow Down and Pay Attention.
