The East Windsor Community Garden will begin it’s season on May 1st. On April 28th at 11:30 The Garden will get a dressing of compost spread and plowed in by four teams of horses. This will be one of the events celebrating the Town’s 250th annaversary. Food will be available from Linda’s Pit Stop.
The Garden has received two grants in the past two years from the North Central District of Health that have enabled the purchase of a water tank which has been filled by the Broad Brook Volunteer Fire Dept. and this year the purchase of compost and material to make a storage bunker for it.
