The East Windsor Garden Club will be holding a Plant Sale, Bake Sale and Tag Sale on May 20th from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the Old Melrose Schoolhouse, 195 Melrose Road (Rte 140) in Broad Brook, CT 06016<\/strong><\/em>. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The sale includes perennials, herbs, houseplants, vegetables, shrubs and trees as well as baked goods, tag sale items, books, craft items and a raffle. All proceeds support town beautification projects, educational programs, and a scholarship fund.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The East Windsor Garden Club meets on the 3rd Tuesday during the months of Sept – Dec and Mar – Jun.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The East Windsor Garden Club’s purpose is to stimulate interest in gardening, to urge the preservation of our trees, birds and wildflowers and to study gardening. The club raises funds in order to sustain beautification projects in multiple areas around town, to sponsor educational programs about gardening, the environment and related topics and to provide money for scholarships for local students in fields related to horticulture, agriculture, botany and the environment<\/em>.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
