CTM will hold activities for all ages!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7906\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eastwindsorchamber.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/ct-trolley-boy.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1281\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Let CTM help you make memories that will last a lifetime!\u00a0Activities including<strong>&#8211; <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Trolley Rides:\u00a0<\/strong>Take a trolley ride operated by period dressed motormen on a trolley car dating back to the early 1900\u2019s. Learn historic information about the collection and how the Museum began.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Trolley Experiences:\u00a0<\/strong>Get up close and personal as you climb aboard selected trolleys from the Museum\u2019s incredible collection in the Visitors Center. From streetcars to Interurban cars this is your chance to take the controllers and let your imagination \u201coperate\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Crafting Station:\u00a0<\/strong>Make a Motorman Hat, create your own trolley fare ticket &amp; more. Take your new creations home with you for future use.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scavenger Hunt\/ISPY-<\/strong>\u00a0Hunt through the Visitors Center to locate Trolley History answers for a chance to win a trolley fare token.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dress-up Station<\/strong>: Dress up as a Motorman or Conductor! Great Photo op!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scavenger Hunt<\/strong>&#8211; Navigate through the Visitors Center using a scavenger Hunt. Whoever completes the hunt wins a souvenir trolley fare token.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LEGO Build<\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0put your building skills to the test and create a design to coincide with the weekly transportation theme. Creations stay at the Museum to be broken down at the end of the day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fire Truck Museum:\u00a0<\/strong>View over 15 Fire Trucks dating back to 1923.\u00a0 Learn more about the Fire Truck Museum\u2019s collection along with historic Fire Fighting Equipment. (Admission to Fire Truck Museum is included in the Trolley Museum admission ticket).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Storytime Trolley:<\/strong>\u00a0Featuring stories about the adventures of trolleys and trains. The reading will be inside one of our historic trolleys and a trolley ride will follow. Every story is different, and all ages are welcome! Storytime is included with paid admission. Stories will be read every\u00a0<strong>Tuesday and Friday<\/strong>\u00a0at 11am throughout the summer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>STEM Lesson<\/strong>-Learn how trolleys operate with a hands-on stem activity every\u00a0<strong>Wednesday<\/strong>\u00a0throughout the summer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dinosaur Fun<\/strong>&#8211; Learn about local dinosaur life through fun hands-on activities every\u00a0<strong>Thursday<\/strong>\u00a0throughout the Summer.<\/p>\n<p>The Connecticut Trolley Museum is happy to announce the participation with CT Summer of the Museum- (Photo from Last Summer&#8217;s Participation)<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7933\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eastwindsorchamber.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/ct1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"500\" \/><strong>FREE MUSEUM<\/strong> <strong>ADMISSION<\/strong> for Kids 18 and younger (and ONE accompanying adult) for CT residents July 1 through September 5, 2022.\u00a0PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED! Tickets are currently sold one DAY in advance to allow us to make modifications as needed for museum operations and staffing. Any additional adults may sign up upon check-in at the museum.
