\nfor the 2024-2025\u00a0school year.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Donations can be dropped off at our office at 25 School Street, East Windsor, CT 06088<\/p>\n

Hours:<\/u>
\nMonday-Wednesday 9\u00a0am to 4\u00a0pm;
\nThursday 9 am to 6\u00a0pm;
\nFriday 9\u00a0am to 12 pm.<\/p>\n

About Us<\/h2>\n

The East Windsor\u00a0Social Services Department is housed in the Annex of the Warehouse Point section of East Windsor. The department is comprised of an\u00a0Administrative Assistant\/Intake Assistant, a\u00a0Social Service Aide, and is overseen by the Director of Recreation &\u00a0Community Services.<\/p>\n

The Social Services Department provides social, emotional and economic assistance to\u00a0East Windsor residents.\u00a0Our staff assesses\u00a0the need of families and individuals of all ages\u00a0and\u00a0provides corresponding\u00a0programs\u00a0and services, helping them to attain self-sufficiency and maintain economic well-being.<\/p>\n

In our office, we\u00a0are directly responsible for administering the Energy Assistance and Renters’ Rebate programs. We offer many other programs\u00a0throughout the year such as:\u00a0Back to School Backpacks, Powerpacks for Elementary School children, Farmer’s Market Coupons, Holiday Baskets, and the\u00a0Holiday Adopt a Family Program. We collaborate with several outside agencies including Operation Fuel, VNA, Salvation Army, Five Corner Cupboard, and Pauline’s Stock Pot, as well as local business and civic organizations.\u00a0Our office\u00a0also provides information about and\u00a0contacts for State, Legal, and Financial Agencies such as: SNAP (formerly Food Stamps), Husky Health, and Care 4 Kids.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
