Thier mission is to give the love of the horse to those who desire it and may not be able to afford it. To also give a forever home to our equine partners.<\/div>\n

Rosemary Malin founded Shag Bark 50 years ago. Her daughter Katie Malin-Hunt teach lessons at their farm in East Windsor, CT.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shag Bark offers weekly lessons. A Preschool program for students ages 2-5 that meets in the spring and fall. We offer Homeschool programs,Equine therapy and more.<\/p>\n

Shag Bark Hickory Farm is a nonprofit organization. We are able to provide a scholarship program for families in need and a safe haven for our semi retired horses.<\/p>\n
