Milling and Resurfacing on Route 140 in Windsor Locks and East Windsor<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 140 in Windsor Locks and East Windsor.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
This project is scheduled to occur on Sunday, April 20 and be completed on Friday, May 2, 2025.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The project DOT01710506CN \u201cB\u201d consists of milling and resurfacing a 1.97-mile segment of Route 140 in Windsor Locks and East Windsor from Route 159 (South Main Street) to US 5 (Prospect Hill Road).<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
This project is scheduled to begin milling by Rafferty Fine Grading on Sunday, April 20 to Tuesday, April 22, 2025.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The resurfacing segment of this project by Galasso Materials is anticipated to begin on Sunday, April 27 to Friday, May 2, 2025.<\/div>\n

This project is included in CTDOT\u2019s 2025 Vendor Resurfacing Program.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

LANE CLOSURE\/DETOUR INFO<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Motorists can expect lane closures of Route 140 in Windsor Locks and East Windsor from Route 159 (South Main Street) to US 5 (Prospect Hill Road) Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone.<\/div>\n

The work schedule for this project is from 6:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Sunday to Friday.<\/div>\n

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.<\/div>\n
