From interactive exhibits to themed events, CTM offers a summer experience filled with fun, learning, and unforgettable memories for visitors of all ages.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Summertime is the best time to visit CTM<\/strong>\u2014come once or all summer long! Enjoy\u00a0<strong>trolley rides<\/strong>\u00a0operated by costumed motormen aboard restored trolley cars from the early 1900s. Learn about the history of the collection and how the Museum began. In the Visitor Center explore a variety of hands-on stations including the\u00a0<strong>Trolley Experience<\/strong>, where guests can climb aboard selected trolleys and take the controls using their imagination. At the\u00a0<strong>Crafting Station<\/strong>, children can create their own Motorman hat and trolley fare ticket to take home. Participate in the\u00a0<strong>Scavenger Hunt\/I-Spy Challenge<\/strong>\u00a0for a chance to win a trolley fare token, and don\u2019t miss the\u00a0<strong>Dress-Up Station<\/strong>\u2014perfect for photos! Admission also includes access to the\u00a0<strong>Fire Truck Museum<\/strong>, home to more than 15 historic fire trucks and firefighting equipment dating back to 1923.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The\u00a0<strong>LEGO\u00ae Station Exhibit<\/strong>\u00a0continues to be a visitor favorite at CTM, offering a hands-on experience that encourages creativity and imagination for all ages. Guests are invited to build and display their own creations throughout the summer as part of this interactive exhibit, which is\u00a0<strong>included with general admission<\/strong>.\u00a0<strong>New this year<\/strong>, CTM will host a\u00a0<strong>LEGO Building Theme Contest<\/strong>, where participants can enter their creations based on rotating themes for a chance to win fun prizes. Whether you&#8217;re a casual builder or a LEGO enthusiast, the LEGO Station is a great place to let your imagination roll!<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For a more in-depth LEGO experience, CTM will host\u00a0<strong>LEGO Workshops<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0<strong>Friday, July 15<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Friday, August 18<\/strong>, from\u00a0<strong>10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0Children ages 8\u201312 will build a trolley using a custom LEGO kit, take a trolley ride, enjoy a snack, and receive a guided museum tour. The workshop fee is\u00a0<strong>$25 per person<\/strong>\u00a0(<strong>$15 for Museum Members<\/strong>) and includes admission. Space is limited and\u00a0<strong>registration is required<\/strong>\u00a0at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ct-trolley.org\/\">www.ct-trolley.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also returning this season is the beloved\u00a0<strong>Storytime Trolley<\/strong>, where families gather inside a historic trolley to hear stories featuring trains and trolleys, followed by a scenic trolley ride. Storytime is offered every\u00a0<strong>Tuesday and Wednesday at 11 a.m.<\/strong>, starting the week of\u00a0<strong>June 30<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong>\u00a0and is\u00a0<strong>included with paid general admission<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Fun Fridays<\/strong>\u00a0are new this year! Every Friday will feature\u00a0<strong>special programs and surprise visits<\/strong>\u00a0from other attractions\u2014ranging from hands-on activities to live appearances.
