(November 3, 2025) &#8211; Windsor Historical Society\u00a0<\/strong>is proud to announce that\u00a0<strong>Windsor Federal Bank<\/strong>\u00a0has awarded the organization a\u00a0<strong>$3,000 grant<\/strong>\u00a0and signed on as the\u00a0<strong>lead business sponsor<\/strong>\u00a0of the Society\u2019s upcoming signature exhibition, \u201cFor the Common Good: 250 Years of Windsor Civic Life.\u201d The special exhibit opening February 7, 2026, will be the featured program of the Society\u2019s commemoration activities for the 250th\u00a0anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. \u201cFor the Common Good\u201d explores the town\u2019s rich legacy of civic engagement and community leadership. The grant will support free public admission to the exhibit for the extent of its run until it closes December 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled that Windsor Federal Bank is joining us as our community partner and lead sponsor for our upcoming exhibit,\u201d said Carrie Taylor, executive director of Windsor Historical Society. \u201cWindsor Federal is a community focused business, and this exhibit highlights diverse stories drawn from our Windsor community. For over 250 years, Windsor residents have worked to promote and defend the rights articulated in the Declaration of Independence \u2014 for themselves and for others \u2014 through acts of civic engagement.
