Recently we were made aware that CWP was looking to relocate its Enfield Job Center. Chris Murphy and Richard Blumenthal, and Reps. Named Gnomon, the sculpture is located in front of the new 27,000 square foot Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center, on Asnuntuck\u2019s Campus. Rivers, a disc jockey for WACC 107.7 and KC 101, co-presented with Andrea Mashiak, Youth Counselor Enfield Youth Services and Mel Navin and Jamie Santiago, Enfield Youth Council Co-Chairs.<\/p>\n<p>The presenters offered an overview of the partnership formed between Enfield Youth Services Youth Council and Asnuntuck Community College&#8217;s (ACC) radio station 107.7 WACC. A PowerPoint presentation highlighted the multi-faceted approach that ACC\/EYS have created to broadcast prevention messages in the Enfield community. Changes to the Follett contract last year were a result of Connecticut State Colleges and Universities (CSCU) President Mark Ojakian\u2019s desire to provide students an affordable option for textbooks. They created 4 modules for these classes where students from Asnuntuck will be partnering with students in Lannion on a health\/science project. The students will be set-up in groups of 4-5.\u00a0 Their first teleconference with the students was on January 23rd in Asnuntuck&#8217;s Digital Lounge.
