Dance Recital 2018<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The East Windsor Parks & Recreation Dance Program is gearing up for their annual recital!\u00a0 This year\u2019s theme is \u201cBattle of the Bands.\u201d\u00a0 The show will take place on Saturday, May 12th at East Windsor High School \u2013 doors open at 5:30pm, show starts at 6:00pm.\u00a0 Tickets are $3.00 per person and can be bought at the door.\u00a0 For more information please call 860-627-6662.<\/p>\n

Kids\u2019 Fishing Derby<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The Broad Brook Angling Club will host their annual Kids\u2019 Fishing Derby at East Windsor Park on Saturday, May 5th<\/sup>.\u00a0 This event is free for kids 15 years of age or younger.\u00a0 Prizes will be awarded for first fish caught, largest fish caught, and first person to catch their 4 fish limit in each age group.\u00a0 Participants must supply their own bait, and lures will not be allowed.\u00a0 Registration starts at 7:00am, fishing runs from 8:00am-11:00am.<\/p>\n

Spring Yoga<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

East Windsor Parks and Recreation is accepting registrations for Spring Yoga with Diane Ross.\u00a0Mondays:<\/strong>\u00a0April 2nd -June 4th (no class May 28 due to the school being closed for the Memorial Day Holiday)<\/p>\n

Wednesdays:<\/strong>\u00a0April 4th -May 30th<\/p>\n

Time and Location:<\/strong>\u00a06:15 pm-7:30 pm, East Windsor Middle School Health Room<\/p>\n

Cost:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 Residents: $30 once per week; $45 twice per week<\/p>\n

\u00a0Non-Residents: $35 once per week; $50 twice per week<\/p>\n

Walk-ins are also welcome at a rate of $5 per class<\/p>\n

Please register prior to the first day of class.<\/p>\n

Futsal Soccer \u2013 Grades 1-4<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

East Windsor Parks & Recreation will be working with Futsal & Street Soccer this spring to provide clinics for those interested in the sport of soccer.\u00a0 This program is a major step in developing players\u2019 Ball Skills and Increase Ball Confidence that they can bring back to their School, Town and Club Soccer!!\u00a0 Price includes FSS\u00a0Shirt (please indicate shirt size at time of registration.)<\/p>\n

Jumping Clay- Down on the Farm<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jumping Clay is an air-drying polymer clay that is 100% safe, non-toxic and completely mess free!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Each participant will create their own 3D farm display including landscape and animals such as pigs, cows, and ducks using Jumping Clay and while learning about basic shapes and color mixing. Beginners are welcome!!<\/p>\n

Head over to East Windsor Park Tuesdays during the summer for a great family fun event!<\/p>\n

Each week there is food, a DJ, raffles, and trophies.\u00a0 There are theme nights on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.<\/p>\n

East Windsor Parks & Recreation maintains two pavilions which are available for rentals both in season and out of season at East Windsor Park.\u00a0 Both pavilions are under the same roof and separated by the kitchen area and rest rooms.\u00a0 They are identified as South & North.\u00a0 Each pavilion has its own kitchen with sink and refrigerator (no stove); an outside triple charcoal grill (you supply your own charcoal); a ball field; volleyball court; playground swings; shuffleboard court and horseshoe pit.\u00a0 Visit\u00a0<\/strong>www.eastwindsorrec.com<\/a>\u00a0to view availability and reserve dates for use of the pavilion.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>2018 CIT (Counselor-In-Training) Program<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

East Windsor Parks & Recreation is seeking teens aged 14-16 to work as CIT\u2019s during Summer Camp 2018.\u00a0 Successful CIT\u2019s are given priority when seeking open paid counselor positions when they become available.\u00a0 Applications and references due by May 14th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Call 860-627-6662 or visit\u00a0www.eastwindsorrec.com<\/a>\u00a0for necessary paperwork and registration.<\/p>\n

2018 Summer Fun Camp<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

This program is open to children 4-13 years of age.\u00a0 Campers will spend the day at East Windsor Park engaged in a variety of activities \u2013 including swim time, crafts, group games, and weekly field trips.\u00a0 Registration will open on May 1st<\/sup>.\u00a0\u00a0New this year we will have a ninth week which will be a smaller post-camp limited to 30 campers.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Dates:<\/strong>\u00a09 weeks of camp- 6\/26 through 8\/24<\/p>\n

Times:<\/strong>\u00a0Regular Day (9:00am-3:00pm) or Extended Day (7:30am-5:00pm)<\/p>\n

2018 Swim Lessons at East Windsor Park<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Swim lessons will be taught by Red Cross certified instructors and will adhere to the Red Cross Learn to Swim curriculum.\u00a0 In addition to Levels 1-4, we will also be offering Water Tot & Preschool classes.\u00a0 Lessons will be broken up into four 2-week sessions.\u00a0 Classes will be held Mondays-Thursdays, with Fridays being reserved for weather-related makeups.\u00a0 Registration will open on May 1st<\/sup>.\u00a0 Please visit\u00a0www.eastwindsorrec.com<\/a>\u00a0for level descriptions and session dates.<\/p>\n

*New* Teen Swim Lessons at East Windsor Park<\/strong><\/p>\n

These lessons are targeted specifically for teens (ages 12-17) who are interested in learning to swim or who may have a fear of water.\u00a0 Taught by a Red Cross instructor, students will learn with peers in the same age group.\u00a0 End goals include creating a solid foundation for swimming and safety skills.\u00a0 Classes will be held on Tuesdays & Thursdays over the course of two sessions.\u00a0 Please visit\u00a0www.eastwindsorrec.com<\/a>\u00a0for session dates and registration information.<\/p>\n
