ARE YOU INTERESTED IN TRYING TO ALLEVIATE HUNGER IN EAST WINDSOR? THE EAST WINDSOR HUNGER ACTION TEAMS NEEDS YOU!<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The EW H.A.T.<\/strong> tries to come up with new, innovative ideas to help our neighbors in need. Some projects we have done include gleaning farmers’ fields of potatoes and squash to give to area hunger fighting agencies, initiating a weekend backpack program to supply schoolchildren with food for them and their families for the weekend, and a summer meals program at the “Rez”.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is not a town agency. Since the loss of some key members of our group the group currently is comprised of an individual resident and reps from EW Human Services and Five Corner Cupboard Food Pantry. We would love to have someone from area business, faith based groups, the town government and other nonprofits.<\/p>\n

We meet the first Wednesday of each month at 11 am in the meeting room at Town Hall. The next meeting is May 2nd. LOVE TO SEE YOU THERE!
