The Sunset Tavern at Suffield Country Club is open to the public and offers a beautiful dining experience for families and friends. Enjoy casual dining in the Pub, outdoor dining on the Terrace overlooking the golf course, and a dining room for intimate dining in a casual and relaxed atmosphere. The clubhouse has been recently renovated but retains its vintage architecture. The location of the clubhouse offers magnificent views of the sunset.<\/strong><\/div>\n

Sam has\u00a0over 40 years experience in the Event and Restaurant industries. \u00a0He and his family began their journey toward the American Dream as they moved to Hartford, CT from the Greek Island of Rhodes. \u00a0Sam quickly found a place in the industry \u2013 he took a job washing dishes at the age of 14 year young. He learned quickly moving up from waiter, pizza maker to cook. \u00a0Sam open his very first restaurant at the age of 21 \u2014 the Apollo Restaurant in Vernon. \u00a0He has since opened and run over 11 restaurant concepts.
\nSam\u2019s experiences afforded him the hands on education of the restaurant industry. \u00a0Today he applies his expert experience managing & creating at La Notte and the Sunset Tavern at the Suffield Country Club.<\/strong><\/div>\n

Knowing he wanted to be a chef, even as a young boy in Portugal, skillfully watching and learning from his mother in the kitchen. \u00a0She was his mentor, sharing with him the Art of Food \u2014 how it can bring family and friends together with such joy. \u00a0Joe carries that art and joy with him, to The Sunset Tavern, bringing people together for your special event. Creating unique and colorful dishes that are as beautiful, as they are delicious. \u00a0Joe is attentive to every detail and dedicated to the experience of dining.
