Hello East Windsor Hunger Action Team Network Member,<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0September is Hunger Action Month! \u00a0<\/strong>And we would like to encourage you to consider doing one or more of the following during September:<\/p>\n

  1. Mention to your colleagues, friends and\/or family that you are a member of a\u00a0Hunger Action Team<\/strong>\u00a0that is working to address the roots causes of hunger in your community.<\/li>\n
  2. Encourage them to join you in participating in one of the many local events.

  3. Attend the\u00a0Hungry for Change Conference<\/strong>, on Thursday, September 20th<\/sup>\u00a0from 8:00 am \u2013 12:30 pm at Chrysalis Conference Center, 255 Homestead Ave, Hartford.
    \nTopics will include:
    \nUsing data and community voice to raise awareness and support for the issue of hunger;
    \nUpdates on the current state of federal nutrition programs and how you can take action; and
    \nNonpartisan ways to get out the vote this November.
