Message from the First Selectman:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Good afternoon,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Effective immediately, all Town buildings will be closed to the public. That will mean that access to Town buildings will be limited only to those who work for the Town. Contact information for each department is posted on each point of public access. The public may still contact Town departments for service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The posted information will include the contact directory for every department in town, encouraging the general public to conduct their business via phone or email if possible. Department heads have been directed to develop non-physical contact means of addressing the public business until further notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most Town services remain available virtually, by phone, or by mail. For the time being, in-person building inspections will be suspended. Plans will still be reviewed, permits will still be issued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, staff has been directed to limit their contact between departments to phone and email, whenever possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
