Police Response During COVID-19<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The East Windsor Police Department prides itself on being a Community-Oriented Police Department and values the hard work by all of the staff, but with the continued spread of the Coronavirus we must reassess our police response procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an effort to minimize personal contacts in our
community and foster strong #socialdistancing<\/a> practices, we are modifying our police response by allowing and encouraging the handling of certain non-emergency complaints over the telephone, with assistance of email, PDF scans and fax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officers will still respond to emergencies and you should dial 9-1-1 in these circumstances as you normally would.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are difficult times for all of us but together our\u00a0#TownWideTeam<\/a>\u00a0will stay strong!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
