These are available at East Windsor Middle School as \u201cgrab and go\u201d. If you don\u2019t have a way to pick up, please contact your child\u2019s school and leave a message. We will attempt to assist you as much as possible. There is also an option for pick up at Mill Pond for the \u201cgrab and go\u201d meals from 9 am-10:30 am.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Community Health Center (CHC) MEDICAL SERVICES<\/em>:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Any parent whose child is enrolled in the CHC medical services and is seeking medical care can contact CHC\u2019s main number 860- 347-6971. When you call in, you will be triaged over the phone by a nurse and referred appropriately based on your child\u2019s symptoms. If it is determined that your child needs to be seen, you will be referred to the Community Health Center-Enfield site at 5 North Main Street, Enfield, CT 06082. Telephone: 860-253-9024. CHC behavioral health services are now able to provide tele-health services. If your child is enrolled in CHC and is requiring behavioral health services, you can call 860-852-0871. The message will prompt you to leave a voicemail and the voicemails will be forwarded to the appropriate clinician. Please note, when a clinician returns the call, the number may appear as a blocked number. A dedicated phone line is available at <strong>860-500-2333<\/strong> to provide assistance to Connecticut&#8217;s small businesses for this purpose.<\/li><li><strong>Small business owner&#8217;s guide to the CARES Act: <\/strong>On March 27, 2020, the United States Congress approved the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act to provide the country with relief from the impact of COVID-19. For a guide about how the act will impact small businesses, <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.ct.gov\/-\/media\/Coronavirus\/20200327-Small-Business-Owners-Guide-to-the-CARES-Act.pdf?la=en\">click here<\/a>.<\/li><li><strong>Connecticut Recovery Bridge Loan Program: <\/strong>To provide emergency cash flow relief to Connecticut small businesses and nonprofits that have been negatively impacted by the global spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, Governor Lamont created the <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.ct.gov\/DECD\/Content\/Coronavirus-Business-Recovery\/CT-Recovery-Bridge-Loan-Program\">Connecticut Recovery Bridge Loan Program<\/a>. Administered by DECD, the program is for businesses and nonprofits that have fewer than 100 employees. Qualifying organizations can apply for zero-interest loans of up to $75,000 or three months of operating expenses (whichever is lesser). This $50 million short-term emergency loan program will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. As of March 27, 2020, the initial round of funding for this program is closed for applications to ensure that those that have been received so far can be processed efficiently and money distributed as quickly as possible. For those that have already submitted an application, additional documentation can be sent within seven days of submittal.<\/li><li><strong>SBA assistance<\/strong>: On March 16, the U.S. Small Business Administration <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.ct.gov\/Office-of-the-Governor\/News\/Press-Releases\/2020\/03-2020\/Governor-Lamont-Announces-Connecticut-Businesses-Approved-to-Receive-Disaster-Assistance\">approved<\/a> Governor Lamont&#8217;s request to begin offering disaster-relief loans to Connecticut small businesses and nonprofits. Companies in the state can now apply for loans of up to $2 million through a special page <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sba.gov\/funding-programs\/disaster-assistance\">on the SBA website<\/a>. SBA also has more <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sba.gov\/page\/coronavirus-covid-19-small-business-guidance-loan-resources\">valuable information for businesses<\/a>.<\/li><li><strong>Tax filing extensions<\/strong>: The Department of Revenue Services has extended deadlines for filing and payments associated with certain state business tax returns. Details are on <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.ct.gov\/DRS\/News---Press-Releases\/2020\/2020-Press-Releases\/Effective-Immediately-DRS-Extends-Filing-Deadline-for-Certain-Annual-State-Business-Tax-Returns\">DRS\u2019s website<\/a>.<\/li><li><strong>Unemployment assistance<\/strong>: Workers directly impacted by the coronavirus pandemic no longer must be actively searching for work to qualify for unemployment assistance. And employers who are furloughing workers can use the Department of Labor\u2019s shared work program, which allows businesses to reduce working hours and have those wages supplemented with unemployment insurance.
