As part of the effort to slow the spread of coronavirus, Governor Lamont issued\u00a0Executive Order 7BB<\/a>\u00a0requiring the use of cloth face coverings or higher level protection in public in situations were close contact is unavoidable. The order takes effect at 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 20th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

The use of masks has been encouraged by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) after recent studies indicated that the virus can be\u00a0spread by asymptomatic and pre-symptomatic individuals interacting in close proximity<\/a>.<\/p>\n
