On April 30th<\/sup>, the Connecticut Department of Labor (CTDOL)\u00a0announced\u00a0<\/a>that the self-employed could apply for federal Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) benefits. At that time, only the first step of the process was available for claimants and the system for the second step was not fully set up to handle those claims.<\/p>\n

The site has been updated and the Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation \u201cred button\u201d is posted and active on their site.<\/strong><\/p>\n
